Purple lemonade is a refreshing treat not only to raise awareness but to make any occasion extra awesome.  Maybe you aren't wild about lavender and want a lemonade to impress your friends. This tart and tasty lemonade ought to fit the bill. The secret ingredient? Butterfly pea flowers. The woodsy, earthy flavor, similar to green tea is caffeine free and is beneficial to eye, skin and hair health.  The acid from lemon combined with anthocyanins, an antioxidant naturally found in the flowers create an incredible effect to wow your audience.

Purple Day Every Day has a cool resource  to explore! It's The Lavender Project.  What is it exactly? Purchase some lavender (at your nearest gardening shop or online supplier)  and plant some lavender then take a photo of yourself to help raise awareness. Sounds simple doesn't it? A friendly reminder Spring Ahead is coming. Don't forget to adjust your clocks and your body to it. Whether you have to go to bed early or make sure you take your meds at the right time, it's important to prepare for Spring Ahead. 

Next week, we enter the month of March and prepare for Purple Day on March 26th. Of course, the next thing to come is turning the clock ahead one hour. Getting enough rest and making sure you take your medications is essential.  Make sure you also have a good routine for bedtime and getting up in the morning.
